Terms of Use
1. About these terms
These terms govern use of UniQuiz, a browser-based tool that converts supported question files into Moodle XML and repairs AIKEN structure. The service is operated by Tamas Kery in Hungary. A street or postal address has not been provided.
2. Your content and responsibilities
You remain responsible for files and content you process. By using UniQuiz, you confirm that you own the content or have the rights and permissions needed to process it. You must not use the service for unlawful, infringing, harmful, or prohibited content.
3. Review before use
Automated conversion or structural repair can contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing question text, answers, grading, generated XML, and corrected AIKEN before importing it into a live or production Moodle environment. Keep an independent copy of your source material.
4. Intellectual property
You retain any rights you hold in your source content. Use of UniQuiz does not transfer those rights to the operator. You are responsible for respecting third-party copyright, confidentiality, privacy, and other intellectual-property rights.
5. Availability and changes
UniQuiz may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn. The operator does not promise uninterrupted availability, support for every source layout, or compatibility with every Moodle configuration.
6. No guarantee
To the extent legally permitted, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that conversion will be complete, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, loss of source files, or use of generated output. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
8. Independent product
UniQuiz is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Moodle or Moodle HQ. “Moodle” is a trademark of Moodle Pty Ltd.
